Monday, January 26, 2026 Mooresville, IN What a great week it was!  Honestly I don't remember a lot of it so I definitely need to be writing in my journal again...whoops! HIGHLIGHTS -Blitz with the Sister Training Leaders I got to go to IU campus with sister Wion. She is my favorite! It was very cold out, but the experience was really good and I loved it! - We did service at a stable where we serve quite frequently. It was good, we helped put their Christmas decorations away. - We made contact with someone who wanted to be taught!   We have been having a rough time finding people willing to listen to us (we thinks it's because of the weather). - We ran into a member while we were out proselyting and he was like you all need to stop by and get some hot chocolate. When we got to his house there was not only hot chocolate, but a whole meal! This was a blessing because it was single digits/negatives all day that day. So it was a nice break. -Snow Day!! We got about 6in-12in o...

25 January 2026- Snow Day

Image
Most of the country is under a sever weather warning with snow and ice storms across the South, Midwest, and East Coast.  We received the following from Felicity's mission President:  January 25, 2026 Dear Parents-- With reports of a winter storm moving across Indiana, we want to let you know that all missionaries are safe. Most church services have been canceled, so the missionaries are staying in their apartments, studying, contacting friends and members, and teaching through technology. They will have a busy and full Sabbath! It looks like the storm should pass by this evening. Missionaries have been instructed that if they experience any power outages, which would affect the heat in their apartments, they are to contact our housing coordinator immediately. They were also instructed yesterday to stock up on water and food for today. We will have a special mission wide devotional on Zoom today with all missionaries. We love your daughters and sons! We are blessed every day b...

Monday, January 19, 2026 Mooresville, ID It was a rough couple of weeks, but there were highlights and miracles: Our friend Shirley has committed to baptism and picked a date, this is the biggest miracle.  We went from her not believing in baptism, to asking about the gift of the Holy Ghost, and eventually committing to being baptized! Our friend Lori wants to come to church.  She went from knowing she should go but felt like she couldn't (she has some health issues among some of her challenges) to this week wanting to come to church on Sunday.   Our friend Jimmy also has committed to coming to church regularly.   He had said he didn't want to come, but has come to the point where he knows church will help him in his situation. He was able to make it on Sunday and really enjoyed the meetings! During our lesson this week with Jimmy some kids got the cops called on them at the Subway where we meet; it was super distracting the whole lesson! Crazy. Our friend Brent...

Monday, January 5. 2026 Mooresville, IN Highlights from the week: -We had Zone Conference and I got to conducted the music! It was super fun. - We did lots of contacting. - We found some new friends. THE HOUSE THAT SMELLED AWFUL: We were visiting a family that met missionaries in the past and because it's cold people either don't want to talk at all or invite us in. This women invited us in and instantly the smell hit us and we had to try not to gag! They had six cats, and one dog with three litter boxes... the smell was that of pee, poo, and cigarettes. We ended up staying in the house for about 40 minutes, and when we left we thought we were rid of the smell. WRONG! It had seeped into our clothes, coats, and bags! We had to wash everything and hop in the shower. It was terrible, but she wants to meet again!  SPIRITUAL THOUGHT: In zone conference we talked a lot about the difference between a full-time missionary and a fill-time missionary. A full-time missionary is a missiona...

Monday, December 29, 2025 Mooresville, IN MERRY CHRISTMAS AND HAPPY NEW YEAR! This week has been so good. I hope everyone had a great Christmas! Highlights of the Week: - Monday we did a Secret Santa with our zone, I got some Legos! - Wednesday we sat and read the whole Book of Mormon! Someone bought the mission first edition copies of the Book of Mormon, it reads like a normal chapter book as opposed to chapter and verse scripture. I really liked this because it felt more like a story; I only made it to Helaman though. - Christmas didn't really feel like Christmas. I called home and watched my family open gifts and I requested that they play The Muppets Christmas Carol in the background. It's my favorite Christmas movie.  The Bishop of our ward and his wife fed us in the afternoon and then we headed over to Brent's house and he made a seafood boil. It was so yummy!  -Saturday we found two people interested in hearing about the Gospel, what a blessing!  This week I...
