What a blessed week! I'm so grateful for this time to be a missionary and talk about Christ all through the Christmas season! 
Highlights of the week
  • I don't remember the first part of this week. Wednesday morning we got transfer news and Sister Green is leaving and I'm staying in Mooresville.  Sister Dahl is my new companion.
  • Sister Dahl, what a doll! I love her so much, she is just who I needed! 
  • Our friend David dropped us, meaning he doesn't want to come to church or learn any more about the Gospel, I'm not happy about that, but we work on the Lord's timing I guess.
  • Friday we had two of our friends say they didn't feel that they needed baptism, which was a little awkward since we teach that the Lord wants us to follow the example of Jesus Christ and be baptized. 
  • Our friend Dickson came to church on Sunday.  He is our inactive recent convert and he was finally able to come to church! 

Spiritual Thought:
In the video, The Christ Child  (you should check it out), there is a scene where the three wise men see the sign and immediately start their journey to meet Christ.  It's my favorite scene because of the faith they had to go see their Savior, even though he was just a child. I want to have faith like them!  I Hope you have the BEST Christmas ever and remember Christ this holiday season. Merry Christmas all!

Mooresville, IN Monday, December 15, 2025 I cannot believe that I have been out for 3 months, and it's the week before Christmas! This is such a special time to be a missionary, I'm so grateful for this time! I wouldn't want to be anywhere else! Friends we are teaching: Right now we have two friends that are progressing and coming to church! Our friend Shirley is going to be baptized, she has such a strong faith and has never been baptized before so I'm hopeful for her. Our other friend David comes to church through thick and thin! He will also be getting baptized, I can tell!  Highlights: - SISTER OLDHAM SPENT THE NIGHT! Her and her companion would have had a two hour drive to the mission tour so they did half the drive Wednesday and spent the night at our apartment.  Monday, October 20, 2025  Mooresville, Indiana THE LEAVES ARE TURNING! It is finally starting to feel like fall here (not that I really know what that's like)! It is so pretty. MONDAY: My preparation day didn't even feel real. First we went to Denny's for brunch. They didn't cook the eggs; a lot of the district ordered sunny-side up and while some of the white were cooked most of it wasn't. Then we went thrift store shopping! I love to thrift, it is like my favorite thing. I got that from my Nana and Grandma Lo. Then I sent voice messages and called my family. After p-day I went on exchanges. I was super nervous about it, but it was so good. TUESDAY: We had a ton of lessons! I met so many people. Sister Thompson's area is the Indiana University campus so we spent a lot of time pc (public contacting) that was super nerve wreaking because going up to people and talking to them is very new to me, but getting out of my comfort zone is so important for growth.  We w...

Monday, December 8, 2025 Mooresville, IN  Hello All!  This week we had exchanges and I went to IU campus and it was super fun! Even though public contacting isn't my favorite, I had a great time. It snowed like crazy Monday night and into Tuesday. We had some lessons with our friends and a returning member. I'm so grateful for all our friends (people we're teaching) and their desires to grow closer to Christ. We had two friends come to church on Sunday! We had an awesome fast and testimony meeting; one of our friends even got up to bear his testimony!  Spiritual Thought: God is in the details of our lives.  He is so aware of every need that we have. I'm so grateful for prayer and the time to talk with Heavenly Father about my day and my troubles. I was so grateful to receive Christmas cards from the Activity Day (8-11 year-olds) girls in my ward at home this week.   Love you all hope you are having the best December, and Christmas season!
