This was the longest week known to mankind! It was never-ending, but lots of fun stuff happened this week too.

We got two prank referrals (folks using the comeuntochrist.org website to request a missionary contact them), and one of them was super fun to deal with; let's just say as sister missionaries, we will not be sending pics...

We had to wait for transfer news until Wednesday, which always makes the week long.  Transfer news was good when it did come in, Sister Dahl and I are staying together in Mooresville!  This was an answer to prayer. I'm very excited, I love Sister Dahl and this area! This will be my fourth transfer in this area and it means that I will still be here when Shirley has her baptism date.

Sister Marshall went home this week after the successful completion of her mission.  I hit 5 months as a missionary! Woo!

We had a lesson with a friend (someone interested in the Gospel) and Brent (our recent convert) was able to be there and he was very helpful with his insight.

Brent also received a temple recommend this week.  He is super excited to go to the temple, and we're excited to go with him next week.


 We talked about temples with Shirley and she really liked that we can be baptized for those who have passed away, and she is getting more excited about being baptized herself.

Mooresville, IN Monday, December 15, 2025 I cannot believe that I have been out for 3 months, and it's the week before Christmas! This is such a special time to be a missionary, I'm so grateful for this time! I wouldn't want to be anywhere else! Friends we are teaching: Right now we have two friends that are progressing and coming to church! Our friend Shirley is going to be baptized, she has such a strong faith and has never been baptized before so I'm hopeful for her. Our other friend David comes to church through thick and thin! He will also be getting baptized, I can tell!  Highlights: - SISTER OLDHAM SPENT THE NIGHT! Her and her companion would have had a two hour drive to the mission tour so they did half the drive Wednesday and spent the night at our apartment.  Monday, October 20, 2025  Mooresville, Indiana THE LEAVES ARE TURNING! It is finally starting to feel like fall here (not that I really know what that's like)! It is so pretty. MONDAY: My preparation day didn't even feel real. First we went to Denny's for brunch. They didn't cook the eggs; a lot of the district ordered sunny-side up and while some of the white were cooked most of it wasn't. Then we went thrift store shopping! I love to thrift, it is like my favorite thing. I got that from my Nana and Grandma Lo. Then I sent voice messages and called my family. After p-day I went on exchanges. I was super nervous about it, but it was so good. TUESDAY: We had a ton of lessons! I met so many people. Sister Thompson's area is the Indiana University campus so we spent a lot of time pc (public contacting) that was super nerve wreaking because going up to people and talking to them is very new to me, but getting out of my comfort zone is so important for growth.  We w...

Monday, December 8, 2025 Mooresville, IN  Hello All!  This week we had exchanges and I went to IU campus and it was super fun! Even though public contacting isn't my favorite, I had a great time. It snowed like crazy Monday night and into Tuesday. We had some lessons with our friends and a returning member. I'm so grateful for all our friends (people we're teaching) and their desires to grow closer to Christ. We had two friends come to church on Sunday! We had an awesome fast and testimony meeting; one of our friends even got up to bear his testimony!  Spiritual Thought: God is in the details of our lives.  He is so aware of every need that we have. I'm so grateful for prayer and the time to talk with Heavenly Father about my day and my troubles. I was so grateful to receive Christmas cards from the Activity Day (8-11 year-olds) girls in my ward at home this week.   Love you all hope you are having the best December, and Christmas season!
