This week was so amazing and great!  This was the last full week of the transfer which is crazy!

We had lots of lessons lined up this week and only one went through (which is typical).  Tuesday we got to spend some time with a member and get to know her better, she is so funny!

On Wednesday we did some service for another Sister in the ward, she has a ton of animals.  We helped with her garden and then had lunch with the senior sisters.

Thursday one of our friends called us up and wanted to meet and talk about Jesus, his lesson didn't go through after all.  Then we went to another member's house and taught her about Christ's life on earth; although she really she taught us! 

Friday we were heading to District Council and I got to see Sister Oldham (my first companion and trainer).  Ahhhh I missed her so much! It's a funny coincidence because Sister Smith and Sister Oldham were companions in the MTC and now sister Smith and I are companions.  

Later in the day we went to a baptism that was so cute, the woman was so happy, you could tell she waited a long time for this!  We had a blitz with our Sister Training Leader's which was so fun! 

It was a great week! We have transfers this coming week so I'm excited to see how that turns out.

SPIRITUAL THOUGHT 
Something I have been pondering about is how important member work is! It's important to bring more into the fold, but to also keep the pre-existing ones too!

Mooresville, IN Monday, December 15, 2025 I cannot believe that I have been out for 3 months, and it's the week before Christmas! This is such a special time to be a missionary, I'm so grateful for this time! I wouldn't want to be anywhere else! Friends we are teaching: Right now we have two friends that are progressing and coming to church! Our friend Shirley is going to be baptized, she has such a strong faith and has never been baptized before so I'm hopeful for her. Our other friend David comes to church through thick and thin! He will also be getting baptized, I can tell!  Highlights: - SISTER OLDHAM SPENT THE NIGHT! Her and her companion would have had a two hour drive to the mission tour so they did half the drive Wednesday and spent the night at our apartment.  Monday, October 20, 2025  Mooresville, Indiana THE LEAVES ARE TURNING! It is finally starting to feel like fall here (not that I really know what that's like)! It is so pretty. MONDAY: My preparation day didn't even feel real. First we went to Denny's for brunch. They didn't cook the eggs; a lot of the district ordered sunny-side up and while some of the white were cooked most of it wasn't. Then we went thrift store shopping! I love to thrift, it is like my favorite thing. I got that from my Nana and Grandma Lo. Then I sent voice messages and called my family. After p-day I went on exchanges. I was super nervous about it, but it was so good. TUESDAY: We had a ton of lessons! I met so many people. Sister Thompson's area is the Indiana University campus so we spent a lot of time pc (public contacting) that was super nerve wreaking because going up to people and talking to them is very new to me, but getting out of my comfort zone is so important for growth.  We w...

Monday, December 8, 2025 Mooresville, IN  Hello All!  This week we had exchanges and I went to IU campus and it was super fun! Even though public contacting isn't my favorite, I had a great time. It snowed like crazy Monday night and into Tuesday. We had some lessons with our friends and a returning member. I'm so grateful for all our friends (people we're teaching) and their desires to grow closer to Christ. We had two friends come to church on Sunday! We had an awesome fast and testimony meeting; one of our friends even got up to bear his testimony!  Spiritual Thought: God is in the details of our lives.  He is so aware of every need that we have. I'm so grateful for prayer and the time to talk with Heavenly Father about my day and my troubles. I was so grateful to receive Christmas cards from the Activity Day (8-11 year-olds) girls in my ward at home this week.   Love you all hope you are having the best December, and Christmas season!
