Anderson, IN

Wow this week was really crazy! We had transfers on Wednesday and I stayed in Anderson and I got a new companion, Sister Kruse. I am so excited to do another season in Anderson I love the ward here!

I was the only one to stay and all the other missionaries in Anderson left, so I had a baptism to plan on Friday which was super fun...and very last minute.  Saturday was awesome, in the morning we got a history lesson from a member, she was so funny! Then we went to the ward party to help set up and take it down. It was so good to get to know the members better.  



In the evening we had so many miracles. We were walking past this house and I felt prompted to knock it and so did sister Kruse so as we were knocking they pulled up and we had a great conversation with them! They were super busy but said they would come check out a church service. We also met some other really cool people that evening.  A night of small miracles!
Sunday was super crazy as well! Church was good and Anderson came to church. We hadn't been able to get in contact with him for a bit so that was a miracle too! A recent convert who hadn't been to church in a while was there too.  Our MCM meeting was insane...we found some really cool people as well! Altogether it was a great long week, but it was so fun!
We have a lake in our backyard with ducks, isn't that cool?!  We enticed them up onto the porch with some home-made bread.

SPIRITUAL THOUGHT 

One of my favorite chapters in the Book of Mormon is the Tree of Life! This chapter tells us how to find true and everlasting joy! The answer is the Gospel of Jesus Christ and living his commandments! And as we stay on this path that joy can be ours! This always brings me peace because it gives me hope! In this world sometimes it is hard to find joy, but through and because of Jesus Christ we can have that joy!!

Mooresville, IN Monday, December 15, 2025 I cannot believe that I have been out for 3 months, and it's the week before Christmas! This is such a special time to be a missionary, I'm so grateful for this time! I wouldn't want to be anywhere else! Friends we are teaching: Right now we have two friends that are progressing and coming to church! Our friend Shirley is going to be baptized, she has such a strong faith and has never been baptized before so I'm hopeful for her. Our other friend David comes to church through thick and thin! He will also be getting baptized, I can tell!  Highlights: - SISTER OLDHAM SPENT THE NIGHT! Her and her companion would have had a two hour drive to the mission tour so they did half the drive Wednesday and spent the night at our apartment.  Monday, October 20, 2025  Mooresville, Indiana THE LEAVES ARE TURNING! It is finally starting to feel like fall here (not that I really know what that's like)! It is so pretty. MONDAY: My preparation day didn't even feel real. First we went to Denny's for brunch. They didn't cook the eggs; a lot of the district ordered sunny-side up and while some of the white were cooked most of it wasn't. Then we went thrift store shopping! I love to thrift, it is like my favorite thing. I got that from my Nana and Grandma Lo. Then I sent voice messages and called my family. After p-day I went on exchanges. I was super nervous about it, but it was so good. TUESDAY: We had a ton of lessons! I met so many people. Monday, December 8, 2025 Mooresville, IN  Hello All!  This week we had exchanges and I went to IU campus and it was super fun! Even though public contacting isn't my favorite, I had a great time. It snowed like crazy Monday night and into Tuesday. We had some lessons with our friends and a returning member. I'm so grateful for all our friends (people we're teaching) and their desires to grow closer to Christ. We had two friends come to church on Sunday! We had an awesome fast and testimony meeting; one of our friends even got up to bear his testimony!  Spiritual Thought: God is in the details of our lives.  He is so aware of every need that we have. I'm so grateful for prayer and the time to talk with Heavenly Father about my day and my troubles. I was so grateful to receive Christmas cards from the Activity Day (8-11 year-olds) girls in my ward at home this week.   Love you all hope you are having the best December, and Christmas season!
