Hey! What an absolutely insane week! 

Last week (since I forgot to write an update) we got a nail in our tire and had to be at the tire shop all day having it fixed.  This week same thing happened, we had a nail in a different tire and then they told us the tread on the tires was thin so they replaced all the tires. It was like 4 hours at the tired shop this week and then we had to get the oil changed as well. So just lots of car stuff!

We had exchanges and I got to work with Sister Chatterton this week.

We have a friend that the elders gave us and she is so cool, we're super excited to teach her! Then the floods...wow!  Wednesday it rained all day and it was a lot of rain! We got stuck inside because of the rain and we saw lots of trucks pulling boats and stuff around.  Houses were half way under water in some neighborhoods and a mall that sits next to the river was also half way under water.  Thursday was the same way up until Friday. We were talking to some members that said the last time something like this happened was in 1913 so its not necessarily a normal occurrence.

Friday we had interviews with our Mission President which were so good.  It has been fun and  interesting to get to know our new President and his wife!

This week we got to minister to an inactive family and a returning family.  We were able to get to know them and help meet their needs, it was so awesome! 

SPIRITUAL THOUGHT 

The wise man built his house upon the rock.

Seems fitting for this week.

Build your foundation upon Christ who is the rock.

Mooresville, IN Monday, December 15, 2025 I cannot believe that I have been out for 3 months, and it's the week before Christmas! This is such a special time to be a missionary, I'm so grateful for this time! I wouldn't want to be anywhere else! Friends we are teaching: Right now we have two friends that are progressing and coming to church! Our friend Shirley is going to be baptized, she has such a strong faith and has never been baptized before so I'm hopeful for her. Our other friend David comes to church through thick and thin! He will also be getting baptized, I can tell!  Highlights: - SISTER OLDHAM SPENT THE NIGHT! Her and her companion would have had a two hour drive to the mission tour so they did half the drive Wednesday and spent the night at our apartment.  Monday, October 20, 2025  Mooresville, Indiana THE LEAVES ARE TURNING! It is finally starting to feel like fall here (not that I really know what that's like)! It is so pretty. MONDAY: My preparation day didn't even feel real. First we went to Denny's for brunch. They didn't cook the eggs; a lot of the district ordered sunny-side up and while some of the white were cooked most of it wasn't. Then we went thrift store shopping! I love to thrift, it is like my favorite thing. I got that from my Nana and Grandma Lo. Then I sent voice messages and called my family. After p-day I went on exchanges. I was super nervous about it, but it was so good. TUESDAY: We had a ton of lessons! I met so many people. Monday, December 8, 2025 Mooresville, IN  Hello All!  This week we had exchanges and I went to IU campus and it was super fun! Even though public contacting isn't my favorite, I had a great time. It snowed like crazy Monday night and into Tuesday. We had some lessons with our friends and a returning member. I'm so grateful for all our friends (people we're teaching) and their desires to grow closer to Christ. We had two friends come to church on Sunday! We had an awesome fast and testimony meeting; one of our friends even got up to bear his testimony!  Spiritual Thought: God is in the details of our lives.  He is so aware of every need that we have. I'm so grateful for prayer and the time to talk with Heavenly Father about my day and my troubles. I was so grateful to receive Christmas cards from the Activity Day (8-11 year-olds) girls in my ward at home this week.   Love you all hope you are having the best December, and Christmas season!
